This is a 2nd shift position.

The Logistics Technician will work with the Floor Supervisors to ensure Inventory is being stored in accordance with Department expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor incoming production and ensure the warehouse has appropriate storage availability.
  • Assist with all documentation and administration of unit storage/inventory using multiple software tools including SAP EWM, SAP ECC, and Microsoft Office.
  • Assist with all goods receiving for items not produced in the Indianapolis Manufacturing Plant.
  • Assist QA group to ensure no quality issues escape the warehouse.
  • Work with Floor Supervisors to set up Inventory Management best practices.
  • Monitor bin storage through cycle counts, audits, and by using various reports.
  • Assist with the Annual Physical Inventory
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with key personnel involved in or directly relevant to Quality/Inventory Management.
  • Other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 + Years of experience in warehouse environment inventory control
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the Warehouse Industry.
  • Strong quality and customer satisfaction orientation.
  • Previous experience using ERP software, ideally SAP EWM and SAP - Sales to Cash module
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
  • Team oriented perspective; able to work well & contribute with other points of view.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work in self-directed manner to identify needs of the organization and/or customer.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Superior organizational, follow-up and follow-through skills.
