Job summary

Flowco Productions Llc is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain high inventory accuracy at the Haslet, TX facility, overseeing cycle counts, receipts, audits, adjustments, and reconciliations to support on-time order fulfillment.

You will generate reports, manage min/max levels, and coordinate with shipping, sales, purchasing, and accounting to enhance accuracy. Requires a degree or 5+ years in inventory systems, plus proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years experience with inventory systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and Outlook.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate a forklift with certification.

JOB DESCRIPTIONTo maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the sales facility. Manage inventory on site by overseeing cycle counts, receipts, adjustments, audits, and reconciliation.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Monitoring and controlling inventory integrityProcess and reconcile weekly cycle counts and update the cycle count logWeekly monitoring and controlling the in-transit inventoryCoordinate with shipping to verify incoming shipments are accurateEnter orders from manufacturing to support sales team and maintain min max levels 2-3 times weeklyPrepare outbound shipments for redistributionReconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and inventory records by investigating/identifying root causeGenerate and analyze inventory reports, usage and turnover ratesSlow moving, excess inventoryAreas that can utilize excess inventoryEnsure that the warehouse has a product identification and location programOversee adjustments of all types (scrap, goodwill, warranty, waste, return to vendor, inventory adjustment) and ensure that they are captured in the correct general ledgerOversee the inventory control functions at each assigned facilityResponsible for performing inventory audits every year on the hub warehouse and truck warehouses if applicable and report findings to the Supply Chain ManagerOversee open purchase orders and maintaining accurate receipts at each assigned facility weeklySend weekly valuations, open sales orders, and open purchase order reports to staff at each facilityCoordinate efforts across sales, accounting and purchasing to enhance inventory accuracyInitiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channelsWork with district managers on upcoming forecasts and demand to keep inventory levels and min max levels maintainedMaintain a +/- 2% yearly variance of the total warehouse valueOther duties as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTSMust have a bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years’ experience working with inventory systemsMust be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel (familiar with using formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and OutlookMust be able to lift 50lbs as a part of the job functionMust be able to pass a forklift certification test and drive a forklift daily if needed
