Job summary

KAD Staffing is seeking a warehouse associate in Pewaukee, WI to receive, verify and unpack items from vendors and customer returns, and to receive all vendor purchase orders. You will perform inventory control duties and move material to appropriate departments using SAP and basic computer skills.

You will pull, pack and ship orders for catalog items, label specials, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Responsibilities include weekly stock-transport unpacking, verifying counts, storing items,

Qualifications

  • One year general packaging, warehousing or material handling is required.
  • Two years warehousing in a manufacturing environment with inventory control experience; knowledge of SAP and cycle counting preferred.
  • Must have appropriate math skills to verify quantities.
  • Basic computer skills to enter inventory data, generate labels, locate stock locations and enter incoming stock quantities.
  • Type and spell accurately to enter inventory information and verify accuracy.
  • Ability to understand written instructions and interpret directives for customers and situations.
  • Must be able to count and verify accuracy of large quantity orders.
  • Must be able to multi-task daily.
  • Must be able to safely handle customer orders without injury or damage.
  • May be required to use moveable stairs to reach high storage locations.

Responsibilities

  • Package and label Special orders, verify quantity and shipping information, band and transfer to packing line.
  • Unpack weekly stock transport shipments as needed.
  • Verify counts and place incoming inventory items in proper storage locations.
  • Operate UPS shipping computer and scale to weigh and label sealed packages.
  • Place all outgoing packages into proper shipping containers for carrier pickup.
  • Daily cleaning of work area to maintain clean, orderly and safe working conditions.
