Inventory Coordinator (Administrative)

Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring that all inventory adjustments, error queues, and other financial issues are researched and reconciled to maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy within a Medline distribution center.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively plan, schedule, and conduct cycle counts and workload management.
  2. Train and mentor facility team members on proper inventory processes and procedures, providing course corrections where applicable.
  3. Review Material Movement Exception Report and Goods Over Receipt Report daily, reconcile discrepancies, and perform adjustments in Catalyst and/or SAP to correct financial errors.
  4. Manage all error queues including ZPOGI, Z272, Workflow, and ZINV.
  5. Research problem tickets, resolve issues as necessary, and monitor the completeness and accuracy of inventory transactions.
  6. Handle and investigate service failures and customer complaints (OSIs), create RGAs, and perform adjustments in Catalyst and/or SAP to correct inventory on OSIs.
  7. Communicate effectively with warehouse team members, operations management, A/P, product divisions, inventory management, item master data, customer service, and internal audit to resolve discrepancies.
  8. Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as necessary.

Required Experience:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse/distribution center or similar facility.
  • Previous experience with SAP & Catalyst, or equivalent enterprise and warehouse management systems; proficient with Microsoft Office; capable of providing direction, implementing changes, and adapting to a changing business environment; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree.
  • 1-2 years of lead experience.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.25 - $28.25 per hour.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefits include health insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles with less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, access to Employee Assistance Programs, Employee Resource Groups, and the Employee Service Corp.
