Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor reports, identify exceptions, and ensure inventory integrity across branches in Baltimore and surrounding locations.

You will review queues, drive corrective actions, and train new hires with clear playbooks to keep operations consistent and predictable. The role emphasizes ownership, timely follow-ups, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics/operations or related coursework preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, receiving, returns, replenishment, or cycle counts preferred.
• Ability to review reports, recognize exceptions, and communicate follow-up clearly.
• Willingness to travel between branch locations as required.
• Strong written communication and ability to create, maintain playbooks and onboarding materials.

Responsibilities

• Review error tracking dashboard daily and investigate issues.
• Assign errors to proper departments and managers for review and coaching.
• Monitor error trends and flag when new procedures are needed.
• Review Negative On Hand and communicate inventory discrepancies requiring correction.
• Track RF Packer Initials and support packing accountability and visibility.
• Review Cycle Count queues to keep counts on time.
• Review various reports for accuracy, exceptions, and corrective action.
• Coordinate branch follow-up on unresolved queue activity and share learnings.
