Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Manager for the night shift in Laurel, MD. You will own nightly warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control, while leading a team to ensure accurate orders and safe practices.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in warehouse management, proficiency with Excel and a WMS, and forklift/reach truck certifications. Overnight shift experience is preferred, with a base salary in the posted range and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of warehouse management experience with a similar size team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Forklift, pallet jack, and reach truck certification required or can be obtained onsite.

Responsibilities

• Own nightly warehouse operations — shipping, receiving, inventory control, wire management, and truck logistics.
• Maintain inbound/outbound flow with accuracy and speed; ensure orders are complete and documented correctly.
• Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team; enforce standards and accountability.
• Oversee safety, equipment inspections, and compliance; coordinate with day shift for smooth handoffs.
• Identify process improvements and drive cross-shift consistency and readiness for expansion.
