Job summary

Capital Electric in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory levels and support efficient warehouse operations. The role emphasizes cycle counts, data accuracy, and cross-functional teamwork to keep Capital Electric the distributor of choice in its area.

Candidates should have 3–5+ years in Fulfillment/Distribution and Inventory Control, with leadership experience and strong skills in Excel, WMS (Eclipse preferred), and data analysis.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years Fulfillment/Distribution and Inventory Control experience
• Ability to motivate, foster teamwork and provide positive reinforcement
• Advanced knowledge of computer software including Excel, Outlook, WMS (Eclipse preferred)
• Ability to analyze moderately complex data
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cycle counts and correct inventory variances with data/reporting to supervisor/manager
• Audit and report discrepancies across operations related to inventory
• Identify barriers and help develop action plans to resolve issues
• Train and coach staff on inventory processes and system enhancements
• Collaborate with returns team on RGAs and with wire team on Scrap Wire
• Operate forklift or obtain certification; multitask in a busy environment
• Assist in continuous process improvements and perform other tasks as directed
