Job summary

Aventure Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory / FSQA associate for a dog food production facility in Iowa. Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM, on-site.

You will walk the production floor, verify labels, track receipts and movements, and support cycle counts and inventories to ensure accuracy. Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years FSQA or inventory experience, strong computer literacy, and receiving/shipping exposure.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years FSQA and/or inventory experience.
• Strong computer literacy and basic data entry skills.
• Receiving and shipping experience is preferred.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Walk the production floor when production is running to verify labeling and identification.
• Check product identity, lot/batch code, quantity, status, date and location against records.
• Escalate missing or conflicting information to Production and QA; avoid guessing.
• Track receipts, issues, transfers, returns, rework, holds, and shipments in records.
• Record movements and maintain inventory accuracy for all materials.
• Coordinate with Receiving, Shipping, Production, Purchasing, and QA on shortages.
• Perform daily spot checks and cycle counts; reconcile variances with evidence.
• Support month-end and year-end physical inventories with count sheets and reports.
• Flag aging or misplaced materials and prevent use until disposition is confirmed.
