Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Food Safety and Quality of products; follow FSQ programs.
• Follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and report issues affecting safety or quality.
• Collect samples from lines or tanker and perform tests per specs (salt, solids, pH, temp, weight).
• Use SAP to access product specifications and mixing instructions.
• Assist in training production staff on food safety and quality requirements to meet standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work and test results.
• Calibrate pH meters, thermometers, and scales; report defective equipment.
