Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist in Alabama to compile and maintain records of inventory, purchase orders, invoices, and shipments within a busy facility. You will perform daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate product locations.

The role requires 2+ years of warehouse experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in cold storage environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory or warehouse experience
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, shipping, and warehouse records
• Compile and analyze data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and inventory reports
• Perform daily cycle counts and assist with scheduled physical inventory counts
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, damages, adjustments, and shrinkage issues
• Identify product locations and verify product IDs, pallet IDs, and authorized substitutes
• Review shipping orders and verify product accuracy using catalogs, manuals, and inventory references
• Monitor inventory levels and determine when replenishment is required
• Review inventory files to identify unused or obsolete products and recommend appropriate action
• Order and maintain shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to support warehouse operations
• Operate warehouse material handling equipment to move products safely within the facility
• Follow all company safety policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures
