Envision Cold is expanding with a new Boaz cold storage facility, hiring an Inventory Control Associate to maintain accuracy and support supply chain operations. You will engage in cycle counts, audits, product verification, and data entry in our warehouse management system.

The role requires attention to detail, crucial data accuracy, and experience with inventory software. Forklift operation and safety in a freezer environment are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics education a plus.
• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Experience in cold storage environment preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification on hire.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Excel.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items in a freezer environment.
• Team player with a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against documents, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
• Record inventory transactions in databases or inventory management systems.
• Conduct routine cycle counts, location audits, and physical inventory activities.
• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product integrity and compliance with standards.
• Generate inventory reports, including stock levels, discrepancies, and trends.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including stock shortages and transaction errors.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
