Nidec Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Supervisor in Brooklyn Heights, OH. This full-time role leads daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping, ensuring safety and SOP adherence.

You will prioritize workloads, supervise staff, manage stock levels, and coordinate with purchasing and engineering for new product introductions while driving inventory accuracy and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• APEX Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping coordination.
• Sets priorities with other supervisors, schedules orders, and expedites work in shop as needed.
• Manages stockroom output and staffing levels, adjusting as necessary.
• Approves inventory adjustments to meet turnover goals and maintains stock accuracy.
• Supervises Cycle Count program and performs data entry for adjustments.
• Coordinates with Purchasing, Engineering and Contracts for new product introductions and changes.
• Supports GEMBA walks, provides root-cause analysis and corrective actions for stock-outs.
