Job summary

US2160 Sysco Guest Supply, LLC is seeking a warehouse-focused professional to monitor freight and inventory, ensuring cost-efficient operations. You will manage cycle counts, item slotting, and data accuracy in the mainframe, while coordinating with other departments to maintain a smooth flow of information.

The role requires 3 years of inventory control or warehouse experience in food distribution and familiarity with IBM AS400.

Qualifications

• 3 years of inventory control or warehouse experience in food distribution.
• 1 year experience on IBM AS400.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's preferred.
• Ability to read, communicate clearly, and perform physical inventories.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect produce at the dock to ensure quality standards and correct quantity.
• Handle receiving and inventory adjustments for entry into the mainframe.
• Conduct daily physical cycle counts on frozen, cooler, and dry products.
• Assign slots to new items and ensure correct warehouse labeling and mainframe data.
• Inform warehouse manager of potential problems or changes as needed.
• Notify customer service of potential stockouts and communicate inventory status.
