Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and discipline staff using sound communication techniques.
• Maintain and update inventory records.
• Locate products in the system and adjust records for discrepancies.
• Track recouped and returned saleable product to stock.
• Oversee inventory quality and accuracy programs, with weekly/monthly reports.
• Develop reports and documentation for accurate counts, including audits and adjustments.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and Warehouse Supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Opportunity

Avantor is seeking a 2nd Shift Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee inventory movement for multiple ISO class 7 cleanroom locations.

This is a full‑time position based out of our Devens, MA location.

Work Schedule: Monday‑Thursday, 4:00pm‑2:30am.

Responsibilities

• Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, coaching and disciplining employees.
• Maintain and update inventory records.
• Conduct searches to locate products within the system and adjust records when there are discrepancies.
• Maintain records to accurately track recouped product and return saleable product to stock.
• Supervise the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports.
• Develop reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts, including records of all audits, counts and adjustments.
• Work with Customer Service Representatives and Warehouse Supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years related experience; prior experience in a lead or supervisory role desired.
• Additional qualifications:
  • Skills in mathematics, personal computers (Excel) and spreadsheets.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems.
  • Accuracy and thoroughness required with great attention to detail.

Pay Transparency

The expected pre‑tax pay for this position is $56,500.00 - $90,850.00. Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
