Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to lead a 6-10 person team responsible for parts availability for maintenance across the operation in a cost-effective way. You will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, audits, and vendor communications, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal rules.

The role requires 2–3 years in inventory or parts experience and familiarity with Navistar, Mack or McNeilus.

• Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office; AS400, Lotus Notes, TMT, and vendor site applications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the inventory staff including, but not limited to, hiring, training, scheduling work assignments, managing performance, maintaining safety/compliance standards and processes, and handling disciplinary issues
• Manage & utilize inventory control programs while maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies and procedures
• Perform annual year end inventories and random quarterly audits
• Track and manage core parts
• Manage warranty processes and claims processing
• Maintain contact with business representatives from original equipment manufacturers for purchasing inventory parts and troubleshooting deficiencies with products and/or deliveries
• Review and control maintenance costs relating to personnel, purchasing, and inventory control
• Maintain proper records and files
• Order and reconcile fuel/CNG and maintenance compliance at fuel/CNG island
• Perform other duties as assigned
