Job summary

SpartanNash in Severn, MD is seeking a Supervisor, Inventory Control to oversee day-to-day inventory control activities and ensure accuracy in reporting, record retention, and compliance with internal policies. You will manage hourly associates, coordinate with distribution management, and drive process improvements across the warehouse.

The role requires at least three years in warehouse distribution, including one year in Inventory Control, plus supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Three years warehouse distribution experience including one year in Inventory Control.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; analytical and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assign work to inventory control associates to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Review inventory gain/loss and salvage lines for high variance items.
• Oversee warehouse layout, slotting, and movement reporting for salvage and vendor returns.
• Ensure compliance with internal, external, and SOX audit requirements.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate with associates on topics such as safety and performance.
