Job summary

SpartanNash is hiring for an Inventory Control specialist in Saint Cloud, MN to ensure inventory accuracy in the facility. You will count inventory, maintain product attributes, and monitor dating standards while supporting outbound audits.

The role requires basic math, data entry, and effective communication. The position emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse and offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory process in the Distribution Center through counting and auditing.
• Coordinate with Buying, Accounting, Shipping, Receiving, Transportation, System Administration, carriers, and vendors.
• Prepare inventory reports and verify balances in the Warehouse Management System.
• Assist in monitoring slotting and layout of the warehouse for efficiency.
• Handle short-dated, aged, damaged, and salvage inventory as needed.
• Identify and communicate receiving inventory errors to Accounting.
