TITLE: Inventory Control Supervisor
DIVISION: Warehouse
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Salary/Exempt

Position Overview
The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a key role in supporting our warehouse operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing daily inventory functions, and supporting overall operational efficiency. You will supervise the Inventory Control team, lead cycle counts, manage driver check-ins and returns, and ensure the cleanliness and security of the dock area. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Principle Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and lead the Inventory Control (IC) staff to meet productivity and safety goals.
- Oversee and conduct cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and daily purchase order (PO) audits.
- Manage driver check-in processes, return verifications, and dock area organization.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inventory activity.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with warehouse teams.
- Champion a culture of safety by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Operations Managers to implement process improvements.
- Support cross-functional communication and assist other departments as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to operate multiple types of material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cold environment (cold weather gear provided).
- Willingness to work overtime and adapt to procedural changes.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform moderately repetitive tasks with minimal supervision.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations with administrative responsibilities.
Working Conditions And Physical Demands
Indoor/cooler office environment. Indoor environment exposure to room temperature, freezer temperature, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. The work environment can be noisy due to the movement of equipment and vehicles in the yard/warehouse.
