Job summary

STAR LUMBER & SUPPLY CO., INC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support daily inventory control across the yard, warehouse, and manufacturing support operations under the supervision of the Inventory Lead Person.

You will perform cycle counts, verify quantities and locations, investigate discrepancies, and process adjustments in ERP/WMS systems, while maintaining accurate records and assisting with annual physical inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in warehouse, inventory, yard, or distribution preferred.
• Experience in building materials or distribution ops a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Verify quantities and product locations in yard/warehouse.
• Investigate discrepancies and report findings to Inventory Lead.
• Process adjustments, transfers, and corrections in ERP/WMS.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical inventory.
• Support receiving, transfers, and material tracking activities.
