Performance Foodservice in Springfield, MA is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accuracy and adequacy of company inventories. You will compile records of material, property, equipment, and supplies to ensure quality and cost control.

You will monitor stock levels, verify counts, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, and Transportation to resolve inventory issues. This role requires attention to detail and reliability in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year inventory experience in a warehouse setting.
• Strong math and numerical accuracy. Good communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Foodstar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts total inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures.
• Verifies computations against physical counts and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews daily reports and investigates issues.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Performs related duties to support accurate inventory and quality products.
• Supports Cycle Counting program and checks in/out drivers and returns.
