Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accuracy of warehouse inventories and ensure efficient product flow in a multi-temperature distribution environment. You will tally stock, verify counts, and prepare routine inventory reports while supporting standard shrink targets and quality controls.

The role requires 1+ years in warehousing, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to work varying shifts with overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly; 10–35 lb, up to 60–90 lb depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count and adjusts discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and refrigerates survey of defective items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
