Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient warehouse operations. You will monitor inventories, verify counts, and prepare reports while supporting a safe and productive distribution process across multi-temperature environments.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year warehouse inventory experience, strong math and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years inventory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical stock and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and surveys defective/unusable items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
