Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk to manage warehouse inventory and transfers at our St. Rose location. You will process incoming products, maintain accurate records, and support asset teams on a hands-on warehouse floor.

The role requires 1-3 years in inventory, shipping/receiving, and warehouse work, with proficiency in Excel and inventory software. Expect weekend availability and physical work handling furniture and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1-3 years inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience.
• Technically proficient; able to navigate excel and inventory software.
• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Receives new product into the warehouse and processes it into the electronic inventory data base
• Provides clerical support for asset team
• Assures that product is cleaned, repaired and stored according to Company quality standards
• Ensures that product is correctly located in the warehouse and in the inventory system
• Conducts product cycle counts
• Makes purchase recommendations for parts and shop materials based on established minimums
• Reviews and processes transfers in/out & maintains product distribution records
• Reviews incoming orders and responds to other CORT locations who inquire about the transfer and availability of product
• Assists on the warehouse floor or at event deliveries as needed
