Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience.
• Physically able to move furniture; lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks; prior experience is a plus.
• Must pass drug screening and participate in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Receives new product into the warehouse and logs it into the electronic inventory system.
• Provides clerical support for asset team.
• Ensures product is cleaned, repaired and stored per quality standards.
• Ensures correct product location in warehouse and inventory system.
• Conducts product cycle counts.
• Makes purchase recommendations for parts and shop materials based on minimums.
• Reviews transfers in/out and maintains distribution records.
• Checks incoming orders and coordinates with other CORT locations on transfers and availability.
• Assists on warehouse floor or during event deliveries as needed.

Overview

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for an Inventory Control Clerk! CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! The Inventory Control Clerk oversees inventory and the transfer of products in and out of a designated CORT location, ensuring we have the right product at the right time to fulfill our orders and satisfy our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate has prior computerized inventory control experience, shipping/receiving and warehouse experience along with excellent planning skills and attention to detail.

This is a hands-on operations position; we’re looking for someone willing to roll up their sleeves to assist on the warehouse floor or with deliveries in addition to their work behind a desk.

Pay:

$22 / hour

Schedule:

Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business; weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 1-3 years previous inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience
• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks (previous experience is a plus)
• Must pass drug screening (does not inlcude THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
