Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for an Inventory Control Clerk to oversee inventory and transfers at our location, ensuring the right products are available to fulfill orders for events and shows.

The role involves hands-on warehouse work and occasional on-site deliveries; requires prior computerized inventory control experience, shipping/receiving, and strong planning and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1-3 years previous inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Receives new product into the warehouse and processes it into the electronic inventory data base.
• Provides clerical support for asset team.
• Assures that product is cleaned, repaired and stored according to Company quality standards.
• Ensures that product is correctly located in the warehouse and in the inventory system.
• Conducts product cycle counts.
• Makes purchase recommendations for parts and shop materials based on established minimums.
• Reviews and processes transfers in/out & maintains product distribution records.
• Reviews incoming orders and responds to other CORT locations who inquire about the transfer and availability of product.
• Assists on the warehouse floor or at event deliveries as needed.
