CORT Events is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk in San Diego. The role oversees inventory and product transfers to fulfill orders, with a hands-on warehouse and delivery component. Prior computerized inventory control experience and warehouse know‑how are valuable assets for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience.
• Physically able to move furniture; lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks; prior experience is a plus.
• Must pass drug screening and participate in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Receives new product into the warehouse and logs it into the electronic inventory system.
• Provides clerical support for asset team.
• Ensures product is cleaned, repaired and stored per quality standards.
• Ensures correct product location in warehouse and inventory system.
• Conducts product cycle counts.
• Makes purchase recommendations for parts and shop materials based on minimums.
• Reviews transfers in/out and maintains distribution records.
• Checks incoming orders and coordinates with other CORT locations on transfers and availability.
• Assists on warehouse floor or during event deliveries as needed.
