CORT Tradeshow and Events in St. Rose, LA is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk to oversee inventory, transfers, and warehouse processes. The role involves data entry, cycle counts, and coordinating with multiple CORT locations, with occasional on-site deliveries and floor support.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of warehouse experience, proficiency with Excel and inventory software, and the physical ability to lift 50+ pounds. Weekend work may be required, and multiple benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 1–3 years of inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience
• Technically proficient; able to navigate Excel and inventory software
• Physically able to move furniture; able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks
• Must pass drug screening; E-Verify participation

Responsibilities

• Receives new product into the warehouse and processes it into the electronic inventory database
• Provides clerical support for asset team
• Ensures product is cleaned, repaired and stored according to company standards
• Ensures correct location of product in warehouse and inventory system
• Conducts product cycle counts
• Makes purchase recommendations for parts and shop materials
• Reviews and processes transfers in/out and maintains distribution records
• Reviews incoming orders and communicates with other CORT locations about transfer and availability
• Assists on the warehouse floor or with event deliveries as needed
