Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple inventory items and priorities simultaneously.
• Skilled in identifying discrepancies and solving problems through logical reasoning.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team coordination.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Excel/Word) and ability to learn warehouse systems.
• Understanding of FIFO, cycle counting, and stock rotation.
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Team-oriented with accountability and independence in responsibilities.
• Forklift experience and ability to pass forklift assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels and locations.
• Input and maintain inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prepare and manage documentation for inventory transactions.
• Assist with receiving shipments by verifying counts and updating records.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment with proper labeling and placement.
• Identify inventory issues and propose process improvements.
• Perform product and location audits and resolve inconsistencies.
• Analyze root causes of recurring inventory issues and recommend actions.
• Support initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Use system tools to trace and resolve discrepancies and ensure stock status.
• Manage damaged goods processes and approved disposition of quality-hold items.
• Execute inventory transfers to support production and fulfillment.
• Operate powered industrial trucks safely (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
