Job summary

CJ Logistics Talent Team is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations. You will perform cycle counts, input data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and assist with receiving, shipping, and disposition of damaged or held items.

The role requires attention to detail, data-entry proficiency, and the ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. This is an on-site position with a Monday–Friday 5:30am–2pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple items and priorities.
• Proficient in data entry and basic computer skills.
• Experience with inventory practices such as FIFO and cycle counting.
• Forklift experience and ability to pass forklift assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits; reconcile discrepancies.
• Input and maintain inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prepare and manage documentation for inventory transactions (receipts, shipments, adjustments).
• Assist with receiving, verify counts, inspect for damage, update records.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and proper product placement.
• Identify inventory issues and suggest process improvements.
• Conduct audits of products and locations to resolve inconsistencies.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring inventory issues.
