Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate stock levels across the production cycle. You will pull and replenish inventory, coordinate shipments, and investigate discrepancies while performing periodic reviews and updates in SAP.

The role requires 2 years of inventory experience or a related degree, proficiency with MS Office, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple SKUs and timelines.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED preferred.
• 2 years of experience or a degree, or equivalent inventory control experience.
• Experience using warehousing computer systems.
• Experience completing wall-to-wall inventory counts in a large distribution center.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Outlook and MS Excel).
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels throughout the product production cycle.
• Pull or replenish inventory to meet organizational needs.
• Maintain shipment and delivery schedules.
• Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
• Perform periodic inventory reviews, recording the quantity, type, and value of materials on hand.
• Conduct CPI and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Map the warehouse and create ranges for analysis.
• Investigate discrepancies at physical inventory grid locations and review variances.
