Job summary

Fluidstack in New York recruits for a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to manage daily cycle counts and variance reconciliation across multiple data center sites. You will post adjustments with proper reason codes in the WMS, coordinate with 3PLs, and perform same-day recounts to ensure data integrity.

Candidates should have strong experience with cycle counts, data lookups, and post-adjustment processes, including remote work from the operation.

Qualifications

• Cycle counts and variance reconciliation performed as daily tasks in a WMS environment.
• Documented procedures followed; flag and act when an exception occurs.
• Identify and post adjustments with correct reason codes, within approvals.
• Coordinate with 3PL and site contacts to recount bins and close loops.

Responsibilities

• Execute the daily cycle count reconciliation for five data center sites and warehouses from the WMS count export, dedupe scans and publish variance trackers.
• Post WMS corrections (quantity adjustments, location transfers, part alias fixes) within authority limits and log root cause/resolution.
• Request same-day recounts and bin checks; ensure results update in the system and correction holds on next count.
• Triage below-minimum/zero-on-hand alerts using decision trees; maintain min/max values and escalate as needed.
• Prepare system-pulled inputs for daily customer count report and weekly accuracy review; manage backlog of serialized assets.
