Job summary

American Woodmark Corp. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain inventory integrity in assembly areas and rack locations. You will count and label putaway pallets during changeovers and collaborate with materials handlers, supervisors, and production workers.

The role reports to the Materials Supervisor and requires readiness for overtime, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and basic math and computer skills required.
• Forklift operation experience or training.
• Ability to read RACK IDs and use barcode scanners.
• Analytical thinking and process-oriented mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Identify parts using drawings and measurements.
• Audit pallet quantities and part numbers for accuracy.
• Operate a Standup forklift.
• Validate on-hand inventories for putaways and support cycle counts.
• Read drawings and use engineering reads to locate parts.
