Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate stock records and support efficient warehouse operations. You will reconcile physical counts with the inventory system, count and verify stocks, and ensure procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles physical inventory counts and ensures proper inventory procedures are followed
• Counting and confirming inventory counts
• Responsible for making sure inventory counts match what is listed in inventory program
• Examining inbound and outbound shipments and bundles to verify information
• Assigning and labeling placards to bundles of wood
• Assists in stacking lumber or moving products as needed
