Job summary

American Woodmark Corp. in Cumberland, MD is seeking a Material Stocker to handle and transfer materials using industrial equipment.

You will interpret pallet paperwork, stock locations, and ensure accurate entry into the plant database, while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and occasional overtime in a humid manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances.
• Identify and process damaged or flawed material.
• Read a standard tape measure and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret pallet paperwork and labels.
• Maintain familiarity with plant layout and stock locations.
• Safely use a pallet jack in performing various tasks.
• Enter plant receipt reports into the computerized database.
• Receive and stock materials in correct locations.
• Identify all cabinet parts, components, and stock locations.
• Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
