Job summary

Mygrant Glass Company Inc in Denver, CO is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support the health of the branch inventory. The role involves cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and collaboration with leadership to drive accuracy and service levels.

The position offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, and a Monday–Friday schedule with limited weekend hours. Reports to the Branch Manager and is non-exempt.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with inventory or warehouse operations preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and document the daily cycle count schedule for the calendar year, including year-end auditing.
• Conduct daily cycle counts to research and correct variances using warehouse software.
• Investigate life cycle of a part to verify internal processes are followed.
• Count, research, and correct variances to reflect current inventory levels.
• Investigate breakage and product loss trends to determine root causes and proactive solutions.
• Communicate discrepancies to affected managers and frontline personnel to protect service levels.
• Coach and promote best practices to maintain perpetual accurate inventory.
• Manage bin locations with proper product quantities.
• Document and manage claims including defectives and breakage to suppliers.
• Coordinate with customers for breakage issues and issue credits as needed.
