Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for its Austin, TX location. The role focuses on precise inventory management of electronics hardware, lab materials, and related components, with standard day-shift hours from 8am to 5pm.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with shipping, receiving, and documentation. You will work with various testing equipment and apply consistent practices to ensure accurate records and safe

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computer hardware including motherboards, CPUs, memory, DIMMs, add-on cards and drives.
  • Experience with inventory management tools and lab/material procurement processes.
  • Ability to organize inventory space and maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with ESD packaging and shipping documentation.
  • Strong data analysis, problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high accuracy and safety in diverse environments.
  • Manage check-in and check-out of inventory items.
  • Receive, ship and verify items against POs and packing lists.
  • Inspect incoming items and perform equipment checks.
  • Document received/issued items using tracking systems.
  • Prepare items for shipment with safe packaging and cost-effective methods.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, including damages or shortages.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with disposition of obsolete items.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet lifts.
  • Support flexible hours and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge on computer hardware Motherboards CPUs Memory DIMMs Addon cards Hard drives HDDs KVMs etc. Knowledge on test and measurement equipment DMM Oscilloscopes Logic analyzers Network analyzers Power meters associated probescables etc. Knowledge on any inventory management tool. Document preparations for domestic and international shipments. Knowledge on ESD package for shipping. Ability to organize inventory room and attention to details. Ability to identify and source Lab materials requirement. Familiarity with Electronics part procurement process Internal and external. Demonstrated knowledge skills and abilities required to perform essential job functions. Understanding of fundamental inventory control procedures and systems. Familiarity with office and administrative practices. Strong record keeping skills with attention to detail. Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively. Proficiency in using computers and standard software applications including Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to operate equipment such as pallet lifts. Ability to perform detailed work accurately and maintain organized records. Familiarity with electronic components and parts handling. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage checkin and checkout of inventory items ensuring accurate tracking and accountability.
  • Perform inventory management duties including receiving shipping and verifying items.
  • Inspect incoming items for accuracy and condition perform operational checks on equipment.
  • Compare shipments against purchase orders and packing lists resolve discrepancies and track delays.
  • Accurately document all goods and services received issued or shipped using appropriate tracking systems.
  • Prepare items for shipment ensuring safe packaging and selecting costeffective shipping methods.
  • Record shipment details including item identification and transportation information.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies such as damaged goods or shortages coordinate necessary adjustments.
  • Monitor inventory levels identifying excess idle or obsolete stock and assisting with disposition as directed.
  • Maintain a clean organized and orderly inventory room to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet lifts.
  • Work flexible hours overtime as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
