Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking an experienced Hardware Debug & Failure Analysis professional in the US to troubleshoot servers, motherboards, PCBA, GPUs, and subsystems. The role requires reproducing failures and developing structured isolation plans, using schematics, BOMs, and board data to pinpoint issues across power, PCIe interfaces, memory, firmware, and thermal systems.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/MS in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of hands-on hardware-debug,

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical hardware-engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on hardware debug, sustaining engineering, failure analysis, manufacturing engineering, or repair engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex server, motherboard, PCBA, or electronic hardware.
• Strong ability to read and use electrical schematics during failure isolation.
• Experience performing board/system-level failure analysis and RCA.

Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex server, motherboard, PCBA, or electronic hardware.

Strong ability to read and use electrical schematics during failure isolation.

Experience performing board/system-level failure analysis and RCA.

Experience using electrical lab/debug equipment.

Understanding Of Server Hardware Architecture Including

Experience correlating hardware failures with diagnostic and system logs.

Strong technical documentation and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• GPU/AI server hardware experience.


• Datacenter hardware sustaining experience.


• PCBA manufacturing and component-level repair experience.


• SMT/BGA/rework and workmanship failure-analysis knowledge.


• Experience with Python, PowerShell, SQL, Kusto, or similar tools.


• Experience developing or validating hardware diagnostics.


• Fixture/test-equipment development or qualification experience.


• Experience with supplier or repair-depot technical qualification.


• Familiarity with liquid-cooled and next-generation AI platforms such as GB200/GB300-class systems.


• Experience with FMEA, SPC, GR&R/MSA, CTQ, PPAP, Cpk, or similar quality

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
