Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring an Inventory Control Associate in Islandia, NY to maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations within a SAP warehouse management environment.

You will analyze inventory reports, manage the JIT cycle count program, and resolve discrepancies while cooperating with multiple departments; a high school diploma is required and weekend/early shifts are possible. Starting pay is $20.75 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and early morning shifts.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and external contacts in a professional manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills including reasoning, negotiation, instruction, persuasion, and communication.
• Experience with SAP/Gold Stock Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
• Experience with warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and report on the JIT Cycle Count Program.
• Communicate JIT cycle count results to vendors and follow up as necessary.
• Obtain driver signatures on delivery logs and related documentation.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports, including Pick Hits and Lost in Cycle Count.
• Maintain and organize all Transfer Order documentation.
• Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues through troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Conduct PO discrepancy research and other analytical investigations.
• Perform QA audits and spot checks for product code dates and expiration compliance.
• Monitor and maintain inventory integrity and accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
