Job summary

IFA Rotorion is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to manage cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy in SAP, and support material movement records. The role requires hands-on counting, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration with logistics teams.

Responsibilities include daily cycle counts for raw, WIP and finished goods, preparing inventory reports, and assisting in annual physical inventories while adhering to ISO 14001 standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2–4 year degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field or demonstrated work experience.
• 2–5 years of logistics, shipping/receiving or warehousing experience in a JIT/JIS environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management methods.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP materials management module.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Experience creating process flow charts and SOPs.
• Forklift certification or certifiable.
• RF and/barcoding experience.

Inventory Control Associate

Job Summary

Responsible for performing inventory of material and supplies. Responsible for conducting ABC cycle counts of current on-hand stock to ensure accuracy and integrity of data in SAP. Assisting in resolving inventory discrepancies and material movement records. Responsible for performing line counts of raw material in the Supermarkets and WIP.

Essential Functions

• Complete cycle counts of finished goods inventory.
• Complete ABC daily cycle counts as determined systematically and on demand for raw, WIP and finished material.
• Maintain inventory records and files with supportive documentation of stock items.
• Review goods receipts for accuracy and completeness.
• Report discrepancies and variations discovered to Logistics Operations Group Leader.
• Provide recommendations for changes to stock levels, based on observation of inventory utilization and complaints.
• Assist with preparation and execution of annual physical inventory and other interior inventories as required.
• Prepare daily inventory reports or other inventory reports as determined.

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop/improve efficiency and accuracy in daily cycle counting functions through joint efforts with Logistics Operations Group Leader.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to handling and storage of raw, WIP and finished goods.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, kanban, poka‑yoke, visual management, 1‑piece flow, etc.
• Work with cross functional group to improve processes and flow.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-4 Year Degree College or University applicable field of study as appropriate or equivalent proven experience

Experience

• 2-5 years relevant experience in Logistics, Shipping/Receiving or Warehousing in a JIT/JIS manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of fundamental inventory management methods.
• Knowledge of inventory record keeping for materials and supplies by means of a manual and or automated record system.
• Experience working with SAP (or similar ERP system) - specifically materials management module
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Experience creating/documenting process flow charts and Standard Operating Procedures
• Forklift certified or certifiable
• Previous experience with RF and bar coding

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk/move about a 500,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility: 100% of the time
• Must be able to stand/walk/move about specific work area: 90% of the time
• Must be able to bend/reach/twist/stoop: 70% of the time
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a frequent basis: 40% of the time
• Must be able to lift over 40lbs on an infrequent basis: 10% of the time
• Must be able to sit at a work station: 30-50% of the time
• Must be able to work and operate a computer terminal: 80% of the time
• Vision is required to analyze and process work; and to work on computer terminal/machine centers, etc.
• Hearing is essential for safety reasons; and to communicate with employees, supervisors, managers, vendors, suppliers and customers via conversation, group meetings, and/or phone conferences
• Must be able to work any shift as required including overtime as needed
