Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Spclst II to ensure inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, location audits, and discrepancy research in our Irving, TX warehouse. You will support operations by verifying stock, recording results, and following SOPs.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently or with a team, familiarity with RF scanners, Excel, and basic warehouse systems, and strong communication to report variances to leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with RF scanners and basic warehouse systems is preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills are expected.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Ability to investigate and document inventory discrepancies.
• Effective communication and organizational skills are important.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and support inventory projects.
• Research inventory discrepancies and identify potential root causes.
• Verify inventory quantities and location accuracy.
• Investigate inventory stored in incorrect locations and support corrective actions.
• Monitor and report inventory exceptions, including negative inventory, overages, shortages, and damaged product.
• Perform location audits to ensure inventory is properly stored and identified.
• Support annual physical inventories and customer audits.
• Follow inventory control procedures and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate count documentation and audit records.
• Communicate inventory findings to Inventory Control leadership and Operations.
• Support continuous improvement efforts focused on inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
