Job Description:
Logistics Coordination:
- Ensure materials are delivered on time from the 3rd-party warehouse to the internal warehouse
- Coordinate daily shipments and ensure all logistics meet production schedules
- Track and manage shipments, including communication with warehouse partners regarding any delays or issues
- Resolve logistical issues quickly to avoid production delays
Inventory Management:
- Liaise with the inventory team at the internal warehouse to monitor on-site inventory (quantity and accuracy)
Forecasting and Planning:
- Work closely with the scheduling team to understand production schedules and future material requirements
- Review demand forecasts and place timely orders with the 3rd-party warehouse to meet manufacturing needs
Supplier and Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate regularly with the 3rd-party warehouse to ensure the availability of materials
- Collaborate with purchasing, planning, and production support teams to maintain clear communication about inventory and material flow
- Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of logistical or inventory issues
Continuous Improvement:
- Seek opportunities to improve logistics and inventory processes
- Recommend process improvements to enhance material flow and inventory accuracy
- Implement strategies to minimize waste and reduce costs related to logistics and inventory management

Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years' experience in Supply Chain: Warehousing in Pharma/Biotech
- B.S./M.S. degree preferred
- CPIM certification preferred
- Strong IT skills in MS Office (Word, Excel) and SAP
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of procedures and concepts within supply chain
- Continuous Improvement mindset, collaborative, team-oriented
- Proactive, flexible, analytical
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools for inventory, KPIs, and replenishment processes
