Job summary

One Fine Family in Baltimore, MD is hiring an Inventory Control Associate to maintain accurate records for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in a USDA-regulated processing environment. You will support production, warehouse, and shipping by ensuring accuracy, proper rotation, and compliance with safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in inventory control or warehouse work, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of inventory control or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing, poultry, or refrigerated environments preferred.
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, spreadsheets, email).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in cold environments and around raw poultry products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory systems and manual counts.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and full physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
• Track product movement, lot numbers, dates, and locations.
• Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
• Verify inventory accuracy for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, QA, and shipping teams.
• Assist with USDA, QA, and internal audits related to inventory.
• Ensure inventory areas meet food safety, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Prepare inventory reports and documentation as required.
• Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and USDA requirements.
