Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate receiving, inventory adjustments, and compliance with store operations. The role involves processing POs, transfers, and buybacks, while partnering with the Store Operations Manager to maintain accurate stock levels.

Responsibilities include pulling OMNI orders, completing reconciliation reports, stocking direct vendor freight, and operating forklifts and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and counting accurately are required.
• Experience with shipping/receiving is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; reading, writing and counting must be accurate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Lead customers with Legendary Customer Service using the GURA framework: Greet, Uncover, Recommend, Add Value.
• Deliver service through customer engagement and team coaching.
• Operate forklift and other equipment as needed; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Receive Direct POs and DC transfers; complete receiving, inventory, and compliance actions.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Stock and tag freight and conduct daily reconciliation reports.
• Complete daily and monthly inventory tasks and approve required documentation.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
