Job summary

Core-Mark in Georgia is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accurate inventories across our distribution network. You will count stock, verify records, monitor rotations, and prepare inventory reports and cycle counts to support efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year warehouse inventory experience, good math and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts total inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports. Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective/unusable items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
