Job summary

Core-Mark International in Newark, OH is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across our distribution center, ensuring material flow and quality standards.

You will count stock, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare reports while working in a multi-temperature environment. Requires 6 months of warehouse inventory experience and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Competitive pay and daytime shifts available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of warehouse inventory experience.
• Able to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly, lifting 10-35 lbs and up to 60-90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures.
• Verifies calculations and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and weekly cycle counts.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
