Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor and maintain accuracy of inventory in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will count stock, reconcile records, and ensure safety and efficiency throughout shifts.

This role emphasizes precise math, durable teamwork, and adherence to company policies. The position requires availability for a Monday–Friday schedule with early hours and potential overtime. Core-Mark offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months warehouse inventory experience.
• Strong math skills for inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to stand, lift 10–35 lbs and sometimes up to 60–90 lbs.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures.
• Verifies computations and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials and supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations.
• Prepares inventory reports and weekly cycle counts.
• Reviews daily reports and maintains shrink at company standard.
• Participates in defectives survey and other duties as assigned.
