Job summary

Stewart's Shops is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. You will conduct monthly shop inventories, work with shop crews and management to control loss, and help improve operations.

You will also travel between stores to perform counts and resolve issues, using data to drive better results. The role emphasizes training teammates, communicating across levels, and maintaining accuracy in our shop accounting system.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach and train others.
• Outgoing personality with data-sharing and tough conversations with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts to measure shrinkage.
• Verify cash at shops and reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify and resolve product code issues.
• Explain the shop accounting system to team members and managers.
• Assist with operational and personnel issues.
• Collaborate with managers to solve shrink issues.
• Travel between shops to perform duties.
