Job summary

Stewart's Shops is seeking Inventory Control Specialists to join our team. Our auditors conduct monthly shop inventory and work with shop crews and management to control loss and improve operations.

You will be part of the solution, teaching teammates how to use the shop accounting system, performing counts, cash verification, and resolving product code issues. Travel between shops is required as you audit across locations.

Qualifications

• Retail or food service management or accounting experience.
• Willing to teach and train others.
• Outgoing personality with ability to share data and have tough conversations with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts to determine shrink.
• Verify cash and resolve discrepancies.
• Check and resolve product code issues.
• Explain and teach the value of the shop accounting system to crew members and managers.
• Assist with operational and personnel issues.
• Work with managers to solve shrink issues.
• Travel between shops to conduct audits.
