Job summary

Stewart's Shops is seeking Inventory Control Specialists in New York to conduct monthly shop inventory, educate staff on our accounting system, and collaborate with management to reduce loss and improve operations.

You will travel between shops, support store teams, and contribute to ongoing training and development while benefiting from a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Have some retail or food service management or accounting experience.
• Enjoy people and want to help teach and train.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to share data and have tough conversations with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Physical count of inventory to calculate inventory shrink.
• Cash verification.
• Check and resolve product code issues.
• Explain and teach the value of our shop accounting system to shop crew members and managers.
• Assist with operational and personnel issues.
• Work with managers to solve shrink issues.
• Travel from shop to shop.

We are looking to add Inventory Control Specialists to our team. Our auditors conduct monthly shop inventory and work with the shop crew and management to help control loss and improve operations. In addition to finding problems and opportunities you will be required to be part of the solution.
