Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is looking for a detail-oriented professional to oversee inventory management and auditing in Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a High School Diploma or GED, and over 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish weekly inventory count schedules.
  • Communicate schedules with Warehouse Supervisors.
  • Provide daily analysis and statistics of audits.
  • Conduct spot audits and document results.
  • Interact with supervisors for corrective action.
  • Respond to emails promptly.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
  • Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily -- so that supervisors can assign necessary product, equipment, and human resources needed to complete schedule.
  • Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
  • Spot audit unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Interacts with supervisors to help identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
  • Read and respond to all emails in a timely fashion.
Skills
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent audit skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Must have the ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment
  • Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements, and industry standards.
  • Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 5 or more years of related work experience.
  • 5 or more years of industry related experience preferred.
Certifications & Licenses
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas
Physical Requirements
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
